The author investigates the behaviour of the solutions of a predator-prey system in which refuges protect a constant proportion of the prey from predators. The author provides conditions which guarantee the fact that the solutions eventually enter a triangular region in the first quadrant. Moreover, two Hopf bifurcations occur and the periodic solutions produced by such bifurcations are unique.
