The aim is to demonstrate the effect of material property randomness on the response of a composite plate subjected to static loads. Basic material parameters (like elastic modulus, Poisson's ratio etc.) are considered to be random values with a known distribution. The formulation for the analysis of the rectangular composite plate is done using Navier's method. Results have been computed for a rectangular plate with two different stacking sequences \(([0^ \circ]\) and \([90^ \circ /0^ \circ /90^ \circ])\).
