The asymptotic method is applied to the simultaneous partial differential equations describing the plastic behavior of periodic composite materials in the case of two-link deformation processes. The problem of the prediction of the effective constitutive relations is reduced to integrating certain simultaneous equations on the periodic cell and subsequent averaging. The particular case of laminated composites with material coefficients and material functions periodic in only one coordinate is investigated.
