The author obtains some results on lower bounds for polynomials in the values at rational or imaginary quadratic points of Siegel's \(E\)- and \(G\)-functions which satisfy Siegel normal conditions. These results sharpen earlier works in which the lower bounds depend on the moduli of polynomials. The applications of these results to hypergeometric functions are also given.
