Der klassische Brouwersche Fixpunktsatz wird in mehreren äquivalenten Varianten diskutiert. Insbesondere wird gezeigt, daß man hieraus viele anschauliche und zum Teil überraschende Folgerungen gewinnen kann, die sich auch Schülern und Studierenden der Anfangssemester leicht erschließen.
