Simultaneous extension of the topology and pseudonorm of a monoid to its semigroup ring (Q1326037)

Given a ring \(R\), the problem of a simultaneous extension of the topology and a pseudonorm \(\rho\) on a topological monoid \(G\) to the semigroup ring \(R\{G\}\) is considered. There are given some conditions on \(G\) and \(\rho\) which guarantee the existence of such an extension for any ring \(R\).
