A problem on a strong flexure of a rod with an arbitrary curvature of the axis and cross-section is studied using the Euler-Bernoulli theory. The problem is reduced to a nonlinear boundary problem of the second order with components of external loads as numerical parameters. Numerical solution of the problem is carried out by the method of successive approximations in combination with the sweeping method.
