    The aim is to investigate resonant oscillations of dynamically tunable gyroscopes under the action of vibrations, taking account of nonlinear energy dissipation in the material of the elastic gyroscope suspension. Analysis of a nonlinear model of energy dissipation shows that frequency- independent friction leads to shift of the nutational frequency in comparison with the linearized model.
