The author studies in an affine space smooth connected closed submanifolds having a nonsingular support hyperplane at each point. When the manifold is not contained in any hyperplane of the ambient space and its codimension is greater than 1, the author computes the cohomology of the set of singular support hyperplanes and the Euler number of the set of their tangent elements.
