The paper concerns a system of three semilinear elliptic equations on the segment \([0,\ell]\) (with homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions) which is a new model for the stationary Belousov-Zhabotinskiĭ reaction accounting oxygen sensitivity and photosensitivity. Bifurcations of nonhomogeneous solutions from homogeneous ones are described using local and global bifurcation theorems of Crandall and Rabinowitz.
