Oscillation of solutions of hyperbolic equations of neutral type (Q1327827)

The purpose of this paper is to obtain sufficient conditions for the oscillation of the solutions of boundary value problems for hyperbolic equations of neutral type of the form \[ {\partial^2 \over \partial t^2} \bigl[ u(x,t) + p(t)u(x,t - \tau) \bigr] = a(t) \Delta u(x,t) - q(t)f \biggl( u \bigl( x, \sigma (t) \bigr) \biggr), \quad (x,t) \in \Omega \times \mathbb{R}_+ , \] where \(\Omega\) is a bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) with a piecewise smooth boundary \(\partial \Omega\).
