The author proposes three different types of vector-valued rational approximations computed from Maclaurin series with vector coefficients. He proves theorems concerning their poles and concerning their uniform convergence. The results of this work can be applied to the matrix eigenvalue problem generalizing the power method and especially adapted for very large and sparse matrices.
