Let \(T=(T_ 1,T_ 2)\) be a pair of commuting operators on a separable infinite dimensional Hilbert space \(H\). It is proved that the Taylor and Harte spectra coincide when \(T\) is a triangular pair. The case of quasitriangular pairs is also investigated.
