The author derives topological obstructions to the existence of non- Cliffordian pin structures on 4-dimensional spacetimes, and applies these to study non-Cliffordian pin-Lorentz cobordism. It is claimed that the methodology is applicable to spaces of arbitrary dimension and signature, and a general format for calculating obstructions is suggested. Finally, a physical interpretation for the breakdown of pin structure is given.
