Stability properties of a partially ionized, two component magnetized plasma are considered in the presence of radiative processes and the collisional coupling. The external magnetic field is in the vertical direction, parallel to the gravity. The author's conclusion is that the radiation from plasma destabilizes the system while the presence of the concentration gradient shows a stabilizing effect.
