Multidomain solution of advection-diffusion problems discretized by Chebyshev spectral collocation methods is discussed. For the multidomain solution suitable interface conditions are derived. The potential for parallel computations is shown. Numerical experiments with two- and three-dimensional models substantiate that the multidomain method is efficient and well-suited for distributed-memory parallel machines.
