This is a brief note regarding an error in the original article [\textit{D. Lehmann} and \textit{M. Magidor}, ``What does a conditional knowledge base entail?'', Artif. Intell. 55, No. 1, 1--60 (1992; Zbl 0762.68057)]. The correct algorithm is: \(C = K\); while \(\alpha\) is exceptional for \(C\) and \(E(C) \neq C\), \(C : = E(C)\); if \(\alpha \wedge \beta\) is exceptional for \(C\) then answer yes else answer no.
