Suppose \(X\) is a closure space and \(X_ i\) is a family of subsets of \(X\). Suppose that for each \(i\), there is a Cauchy structure \(S_ i\). The problem is to find necessary and/or sufficient conditions for the existence of a Cauchy structure \(S\) on \(X\) which induces the given closure and Cauchy structure \(S_ i\) on \(X_ i\). The paper contains several examples.
