The investigation of solvability of stationary problems for network casings (Q1333660)

We consider a problem of equilibrium state of a soft network casing fastened along its edge and being subjected to mass forces and tracking surface load. The mathematical formulation of the problem is the system of nonlinear degenerate differential equations of second order. We prove the existence of solution by means of the solvability theorems for equations with pseudo-monotone operators.
