Conic degeneration of the Gauss-Bonnet operator (Q1333780)

The author studies the Gauss-Bonnet operator \(d + \delta : \bigwedge^{\text{even}} \to \bigwedge^{odd}\) on a family of smooth manifolds which degenerates to a manifold with a conic singularity. He obtains the index of the limiting operator by comparing it to that of the nonsingular approximations.
