A fixed point of a reversible mapping of the plane is parabolic if both eigenvalues of its linearization are 1. By KAM theory, sufficient conditions for the existence of closed invariant curves, and thereby stability of the fixed point, are established. Finite and infinite fixed points are dealt with separately.
