Let \(a(n)\) be the number of non-isomorphic Abelian groups of order \(n\). The author considers the distribution of values of \(a(n)\) in short intervals. An estimation for \[ A_ k(x;h)= \#\{n:\;x<n\leq x+h,\;a(n)=k\} \] is established. Unfortunately, much better results are known. See Theorem 7.8 in the book ``Lattice points'' of the reviewer [Kluwer (1988; Zbl 0675.10031)].
