The authors solve two problems completely. The first is to find a reparametrization of a Bézier surface so that a given triangular patch on the surface becomes the image of the triangle \((0,0)\), \((1,0)\), \((0,1)\) in the parameter plane. The second one is to find a rational triangular Bézier parametrization for a given patch with plane boundary curves on a quadric.
