A new treatment of differential operators in the white noise calculus is given. It is simple, direct and different from that in \textit{T. Hida}, \textit{H.-H. Kuo}, \textit{J. Potthoff} and \textit{L. Streit} [White noise. An infinite dimensional calculus (1993; Zbl 0771.60048)].
