The aim is to study solvability for a problem of simultaneous motion of two immiscible non-Newtonian fluids separated by a free boundary. Using the methods of geometric measure theory and considering the free boundary as a varifold, the author constructs a generalized solution to the problem ``in the large'' as a limit of smooth approximate solutions.
