The result of \textit{O. V. Davydov} [Ukr. Math. Zh. 42, No. 11, 1469-1475 (1990; Zbl 0719.42005)] about asymptotic extremal functions for the exact Jackson inequalities in the uniform metric is extended on the case of the metric \(L_p\), \(0 < p < \infty\).
