The author introduces new \(q\)-analogues of Stirling numbers of the first and the second kind based on multipermutations of multisets, using \textit{R. P. Stanley's} \(P\)-partition theory [Ordered structures and partitions, Mem. Am. Math. Soc. 119 (1972; Zbl 0246.05007)].
