The present authors define a new class of Latin squares (classic squares) and a new class of column Latin squares (broadcast squares). They point out how the squares are interrelated. Namely they give an algorithm how to generate a broadcast square from a classic square. Broadcast squares can be used to implement broadcast communication on a point to point network so that message due to buffer overflow is avoided.
