Regulus codes (Q1336654)

In Ars Comb. 29 A, 91-96 (1990; Zbl 0706.94024), the second author developed a coding theoretic characterization of the Desarguesian line spreads within \(PG(3,q)\) in terms of binary constant weight codes. In this very interesting article, the authors introduce the concept of partial spread code as a binary code with code words corresponding to the images of the partial spread under the associated projective semilinear group. Furthermore, in the main result they give a characterization of the regulus codes as a certain binary code.
