The authors give a general sufficient condition for a matrix family, guaranteeing stability of the convex hull and positive cone of the matrix family. For a certain class of vertices, this condition becomes necessary and sufficient. Further, a sufficient condition for stability of interval dynamical systems is derived. Finally, a relationship between real parts of eigenvalues and matrix measures is presented. Four examples illustrate the obtained results.
