The author considers two-dimensional motion groups with rotations in the pseudo-Euclidean plane. On the basis of a condition of \textit{L. Fejes Tóth} in `Reguläre Figuren', Budapest, Verlag d. Ungar. Akademie der Wiss. (1965; Zbl 0134.159), he tests these groups for \(D_ 2\)- discreteness. Using an ergodic measure on the torus [see \textit{R. Mañé}, `Ergodic theory and differentiable dynamics', Springer Verlag, New York (1987; Zbl 0616.28007)], he shows that such groups are not \(D_ 2\)-discrete.
