The author, \textit{V. K. Dobrev} and \textit{R. Floreanini} [J. Math. Phys. 35, 971-985 (1994; Zbl 0802.17011)] generalized the construction of differential operators intertwining representations of real semisimple Lie groups to Lorentz quantum algebras. In this letter this construction is done for the quantum algebra \(e_ q(2)\) and its left regular representation using the fact that \(e_ q(2)\) is a contraction of \(\text{sl}_ q (2)\).
