Within the framework of the parabolized Navier-Stokes equations, a numerical solution is obtained for two-dimensional flow past a hyperboloid of revolution, simulating the spreading line on an orbital transfer vehicle over the range of altitudes from 85 to 110 km. The method of iterations with respect to pressure gradients is used. This method was previously developed for homogeneous gas flows.
