The following theorem is proved: Let \(g\) be a left invariant Riemannian metric on SU(2). Then the connection form in the orthogonal frame bundle defined by the Levi-Civita connection of \(g\) becomes a Yang-Mills connection iff \(g\) is bi-invariant.
