A \(\pi_1\)-injective immersion of a closed surface into a closed orientable hyperbolic 3-manifold is considered such that the 3-manifold is a surface bundle over the circle. Is the image of the fundamental group of the surface geometrically finite (quasi-Fuchsian)? Under some restrictions of transversality criteria are found giving answers for these questions.
