Derived sets in multiobjective optimization (Q1340799)

This research work is devoted to a generalization of derived sets used by M. R. Hestenes and J. W. Nieuwenhuis in optimization problems with real- valued objective functions and a finite number of constraints to finite- dimensional multiobjective optimization problems. It contains interesting results on derived convex cones and a multiplier rule for the local solutions of weak multiobjective optimization problems considered here. Many practical necessary optimality conditions can be obtained with the help of the considerations given in this paper.
