We find an asymptotic expansion for solutions of the wave equation outside trapping obstacles with unique periodic nonhyperbolic ray. This ray is such that the corresponding Poincaré map has two eigenvalues equal to one and two different from one. Also we prove results concerning the analytic properties of the scattering matrix for such obstacles.
