The authors introduce two new concepts for \(\varepsilon\)-efficiency with respect to a monotone function. Important aspects are investigated for these two notions and the known notions of Loridan and Valyi: relationship between efficient and \(\varepsilon\)-efficient points, convergence properties of \(\varepsilon\)-efficient points (for \(\varepsilon\to 0\)), distance between the sets of efficient and \(\varepsilon\)-efficient points.
