Adaptive adjustment of diffusive objects (Q1342539)

The paper investigates a model reference adaptive control problem for a one-dimensional diffusion system with boundary control and distributed bounded perturbation. The object of adaptive control design is to construct a finite-dimensional adaptive regulator which would adjust the boundary output to the output of the same type of some one-dimensional reference diffusion model. The parameters of the adjusted system, and the nature of external perturbations, are assumed unknown. The method of synthesis of adaptive control is based on transfer functions representation of distributed parameter systems.
