Summary: We study the \(C^r\) stability of locally free compact actions of \(\mathbb{R}^n\) with compact orbits over manifolds of dimension \(n + 1\). More precisely, we show that in many cases a \(C^1\) perturbation of an action with all orbits compact must also have all orbits compact and a \(C^0\) perturbation usually has many compact orbits.
