By means of a construction, the author verifies that \(V(K)V(K^*) = (n + 1)^{n + 1}/(n!)^ 2\) when \(K\) is the standard \(n\)-simplex and \(K^*\) is its polar with respect to the centre of gravity \(({1 \over n}, {1 \over n}, \dots, {1\over n})\) of \(K\).
