Let \(\mathbb{P}_n\) be the \(n\)-dimensional complex projective space. The author counts projectively distinct rational curves in \(\mathbb{P}_n\) with fixed degree and ramification data compatible with Plücker's formulae. This counting is worked out in \(\text{Grass}_{n + 1} (H^0 (P_1, {\mathcal O}_{\mathbb{P}_1} (d)))\) by using Schubert calculus and Young diagrams.
