Differential geometry of tensor product immersions (Q1345044)

This paper is part of a series of articles in which the author investigates geometric properties of tensor product immersions. For the basic theory, see [\textit{B. Y. Chen}, Differential Geometry of semiring of immersions. I: General theory, Bull. Inst. Math. Acad. Sin. 21, No. 1, 1- 34 (1993)]. Here, the author investigates the relation between tensor product immersions and submanifolds of finite type [Total mean curvature and submanifolds of finite type, World Scientific (1984; Zbl 0537.53049)]. He first obtains a lower bound for the type number of tensor product immersion and then investigates tensor product immersoins with lowest possible type.
