The paper deals with the existence of periodic solutions of second-order conservative systems with \(N\) degrees of freedom \(\ddot q + V'(q) = 0\) having prescribed energy \(h\), \({1 \over 2} | \dot q |^ 2 + V(q) = h\). Here \(V'\) denotes the gradient of \(V\). Periodic solutions are sought when \(V\) has a singularity, and some previous results are extended.
