Walker's invariant extends Casson's invariant of an oriented integral homology 3-sphere to rational homology 3-spheres [\textit{K. Walker}, Bull. Am. Math. Soc., New Ser. 22, 261-267 (1990; Zbl 0699.57008)]. The author gives a formula for calculating Walker's invariant.
