Boundary value problems for integrodifferential equations of Barbashin type (Q1346955)

The authors discuss the existence and uniqueness of solutions of a non- stationary integro-differential equation of Barbashin type, subject to natural boundary conditions. They prove that the problem can be reduced to a linear Fredholm integral equation, or to a system of two linear Volterra integral equations. These cases are also discussed. In the latter case the authors study the solvability and continuous dependence.
