This paper presents a mathematical model of the vibration of a three-layer circular plate with viscoelastic core. For the case of isosymmetric annular plate, the five governing equations can be reduced to three. Analytic solutions for both free and forced vibrations are obtained via the use of modal expansion technique. Numerical results illustrate the frequencies, damping effects, and frequency response function of the plate.
