Difference sets over the Galois ring \(\text{GR}(2^n,2)\) (Q1348750)

The author constructs a difference set with parameters \[ (v,k,\lambda)=(2^{2n},2^{n-1}(2^n\pm 1), 2^{n-1}(2^{n-1}\pm 1)) \] by using the Galois ring \(\text{GR}(2^n,2)\) (for all \(n\)). It is not clear if these difference sets are new, but their construction is; the author notes that they are not equivalent to any example obtained by Dillon's method.
