This paper is devoted to a systematic analysis of affine bundles. The author starts by studying affine manifolds (defined as manifolds equipped with a connection whose torsion and curvature vanish), and affine fibre bundles. Then the author analyses the deformations of affine structures with a fixed linear holonomy and the locally trivial affine fibre bundles. The author classifies the affine fibre bundles, by using the classification of extensions of groups.
