The paper deals with matrices over a finite chain with max-min product [cf. \textit{K. H. Kim} and \textit{F. W. Roush} in: Analysis of fuzzy information, Vol. 1: Math. Logic, 107-129 (1987; Zbl 0658.15012)]. A uniqueness theorem on solutions of systems of max-min equations is reproved. The paper is finishes by a trapezoidal algorithm for testing of matrix regularity [cf. \textit{K. Cechlárová}, Linear Algebra Appl. 128, 35-50 (1990; Zbl 0704.15003)].
